Our kickoff was a success!! We had over 60 people that were able to make it. It was a beautiful night and fun was had by all!! We cannot wait to start our first official meeting next Thursday!
Unfortunately, we had to announce tonight that at this time we will not be offering childcare (Moppets) at our meetings.
We only have a teacher for one night a month and have not had success in finding a trusting adult to commit to the second meeting. We understand this is not ideal as some moms cannot attend without the childcare.
Trust me the Steering Team prayed on this a lot, contacted all groups/churches/schools we could, and tried very hard to come up with some out of the box ideas on how to make it work.
If there is one or a group of members who are committed to making Moppets work, we would love any effort. To make it work we need one adult who can be there every month on the 3rd Thursday and they need to follow the Moppets curriculum.
